Terms of use

The agreement between you and Multi-Delete for using this website and the tool. Plainly written, because it is about an operation that cannot be undone.

Who we are

Multi-Delete (“we”, “us”) operates multidelete.com and the Multi-Delete tool for QuickBooks Online. We are based in Queensland, Australia. You can reach us at support@multidelete.com.

What the tool does

Multi-Delete connects to a QuickBooks Online company you authorise, lets you preview and export an exact set of transactions, shows you a dry run, and then deletes that set in batches — producing a per-record log of what was deleted and what was skipped. It is an early version and is free to use while we finish it. It has no user accounts and no sign-up.

Your authorisation

You may only connect a QuickBooks company that you own or are authorised to administer. By using the tool you confirm you have that authority, and that you are responsible for what is done in that company.

Deleting is permanent — read this part

A delete in QuickBooks Online cannot be undone. There is no bin to restore from. Multi-Delete forces an export before it will delete anything, but that export is your backup and your responsibility to keep: if you delete something you did not mean to, the exported file is the only record of it. Deletion can also break reconciliations and remove part of your audit trail. You are responsible for deciding what is safe to delete, and for keeping the export.

The licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the website and the tool for your own business or professional purposes. You may not resell the tool, white-label it, incorporate it into another paid product, or attempt to access it other than through the interface we provide.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the tool on a company you are not authorised to administer.
• Do not use it for anything unlawful, or to interfere with Intuit’s services.
• Do not attempt to bypass, disable or probe the tool’s safety steps, or to overload the service.

Fees

The tool is free during this early phase. We may introduce paid features later; if we do, we will make the price clear before you are charged anything, and nothing you have already done will be charged retroactively.

Third-party services

The tool works through Intuit’s QuickBooks Online API, under your own authorisation. Your use of QuickBooks Online is governed by Intuit’s terms and privacy policy, not ours. The website is hosted by Vercel. If any of those services are unavailable or change, the tool may not work.

Availability and changes

This is an early version provided as-is. We may change, suspend or withdraw the tool or any part of it at any time. We may also update these terms; the current version always lives on this page, with the date above.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the tool is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose. You should verify anything the tool reports before relying on it. Nothing on this site is accounting, tax or legal advice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the tool — including any transaction you delete. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the tool in breach of these terms, including any claim from a person whose QuickBooks company you acted on without authority.

Intellectual property

The site and the tool, and their content, are ours or our licensors’. Your QuickBooks data is yours: we claim no rights over it, and we keep no copy of it (see the privacy policy).

Ending this agreement

You can stop at any time by disconnecting the tool, which revokes our access to your QuickBooks company and clears the session. We may suspend access if the tool is misused or if we withdraw the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts there have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
